SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Ricky Nolasco mowed down 11 Giants Tuesday in pitching a two-hit shutout that paced the Florida Marlins' 6-0 victory. Nolasco also only issued one walk as he improved to 12-7 on the season and earned the first shutout and first complete game of his career. The 25-year-old's effort was the first complete game by a Marlins pitcher since Anibal Sanchez did it in a 2-1 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Sept. 16, 2006. Nolasco aided his own cause by producing a two-run double, as well. Jorge Cantu hit a solo homer for Florida, which had dropped four of its previous five games.
