Sluggers Converge Upon "The Joe' for All-Star Home Run Derby

08/18/08 - New York-Penn League (NYPL) • Discuss this story on the New York-Penn League message board... Troy, N.Y. - The top sluggers of the New York-Penn League will converge upon Joseph L. Bruno Stadium Tuesday evening for the All-Star Home Run Derby. The home run barrage commences at 6:00 pm with the All-Star game first pitch scheduled for 7:15 pm. Four participants from each league will compete along with two randomly selected fans. The American League will be represented by Mike Lyon (Staten Island), Mitch Dening (Lowell), Adam Amar (Auburn) and Caleb Joseph (Aberdeen). The National League will be represented by Phil Disher (Tri-City), David Flores (Tri-City), Miguel Fermin (Jamestown) and Michael Guerrero (Vermont).
