Eritrea: President Omar Hassan Al-Beshir Lauds Country's Stance in Sudanese Issues

Posted to the web 18 August 2008 Asmara President Omar Hassan Al-Beshir of Sudan lauded Eritrea's stance as regards promoting peace and stability in the Sudan. He made the statement after receiving a message from President Isaias Afwerki focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and regional issues, and during talks with the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh. Expressing his country's desire and readiness to foster close relations with neighboring countries, President Omar Hassan Al-Beshir cited Eritrea's stance in the Sudanese issue as an example.
