Sidewinders return home after another game is postponed

Tucson, Arizona | Published: 08.16.2008 The Sidewinders will open a four-game home-stand today, their second-to-last series at home before the end of their final season in Tucson. The Sidewinders will face the Portland Beavers, a San Diego Padres affiliate, at 6 p.m. at TEP. Eight home games remain on the schedule. Rain postponed the Sidewinders' game Friday in Colorado Springs. Inclement weather suspended Thursday's game, which Tucson was leading 5-3 in the fourth inning. Those games will be made up with doubleheaders on Aug. 26-27 when the Sidewinders return to Colorado Springs.
