NCC to build about 135 apartments in Uppsala (SE)

NCC Construction has been commissioned to build about 135 apartments at the Mjölnaren property block in Uppsala. The customer is Uppsalahem AB and the project will be implemented on a partnering basis. The order value is estimated at approximately SEK 160 million (approx. €16 mln.). The partnering process and preparations for the start of construction, which is expected to be in January 2009, will now commence. During the preparation phase, which will extend up to November 2008, NCC and Uppsalahem will formulate the final parameters for the project. This work will include an agreement concerning a contractual target price for the project. Following this initial phase, the actual construction work will continue until summer 2011.
