Pels' seven-game win streak snapped

From staff reports • August 15, 2008 The Pensacola Pelicans came into Shreveport with the longest active winning streak in the American Association, but saw the seven-game streak end Thursday night in a 3-1 loss to the Sports. The Sports starter, Thad Markray retired the first 17 batters of the game before Dallas Christison doubled to left field to break up the perfect game in the sixth inning with two outs.
