Twenty years later, his daughter, Nastia Liukin, added another gold to her family's trophy case when she grabbed first place during the all around final of the women's gymnastics event with an impressive 63.325 Liukin started slowly on vault, she stuck, but her start vaule wasn't very high, leaving her out of the top three. Undaunted, she went on to hit a great bars routine and solid beam routine that gave her a 16.650, the highest score of the night. On floor, she was reminiscent of the classic Soviet style, her valuable DNA on full display.
