Posted to the web 15 August 2008 Proffesor Ndawonde Port Elizabeth Almost 1 000 families living in informal settlements in the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality will receive keys to their own homes on Friday. The Minister of Housing, Lindiwe Sisulu, will visit the area in the Eastern Cape to hand over the houses to the beneficiaries of the Zanemvula Housing Project. The project is the largest human settlement project in the province and involves the relocation of families living in the Chatty River Flood plain situated adjacent to the Soweto-on-Sea and Veeplaas areas to sites with basic services.
