Tonbridge Power Receives Final AEUB Permit for MATL

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 13, 2008) - Tonbridge Power Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TBZ), ("Tonbridge Power" or the "Company"), 100% controlling shareholder of the Montana Alberta Tie Ltd. ("MATL") transmission line project to interconnect the electricity markets of Alberta and the US through a 300 MW transmission line is pleased to announce that today the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) granted MATL a permit to construct and license to operate a 346km, 230kV AC (alternating current) international power line (IPL) from the County of Lethbridge, Alberta to a substation near Great Falls, Montana. The EUB ruled that MATL has met all the conditions imposed when it granted conditional approval of the line on January 31, 2008.
