Trade delegation from Shanghaiexpected to visit Grand Bahama

NANCOO-RUSSELL Freeport News Reporter A Shanghai trade delegation is expected to visit Grand Bahama next month as part of the Fleming Group's proposed strategy to attract foreign investment to Grand Bahama. According to the recently-released Fleming Strategy report, the high-level trade delegation's visit, which was arranged by the Flemings through a third party, will be hosted by the Bahamas Financial Services Board and "possibly" the Minister of State for Finance, Zhivargo Laing. The delegation, which is focused on financial services, has already planned to visit the United States and will be lengthening their trip to visit both Grand Bahama and Nassau, according to the Flemings.
