Aug 14 2008 by Rachel Moses, Neath Guardian NEATH MP Peter Hain has shown his support to plans to co-locate three local radio stations in the county borough. Swansea Sound, The Wave and Valleys Radio are proposing to move from their current location to a more suitable single media centre at the Visteon site, Fabian Way. The move would also see Valleys Radio switch frequency from AM to FM in a bid to increase audience and revenue. Mr Hain has written to the chair of OFCOM Ed Richards to support the bid from the three stations. Mr Hain said: “These three stations provide a valuable service, keeping listeners up to date with local issues and playing music for local tastes. “But this is becoming more and more difficult in an increasingly competitive market. “The Visteon building is a far more suitable site than the buildings they...
