MP backs radio stations’ move

Aug 14 2008 by Rachel Moses, Neath Guardian NEATH MP Peter Hain has shown his support to plans to co-locate three local radio stations in the county borough. Swansea Sound, The Wave and Valleys Radio are proposing to move from their current location to a more suitable single media centre at the Visteon site, Fabian Way. The move would also see Valleys Radio switch frequency from AM to FM in a bid to increase audience and revenue. Mr Hain has written to the chair of OFCOM Ed Richards to support the bid from the three stations.
