Documents disclosed at 'glacial-like speed' David Akin , Canwest News Service Published: Wednesday, August 13, 2008 GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba - A U.S. military judge has admonished U.S. government lawyers prosecuting Canadian war crimes suspect Omar Khadr for delays in producing key reports requested by Khadr's defence team. Paradoxically, the attempt by Judge Col. Patrick Parrish to force the government to more quickly produce material requested by the defence could weaken defence efforts to have the charges against Khadr dismissed for what the defence characterizes as unlawful political interference. The judge, presiding over Wednesday's pretrial hearing, has not yet ruled on those allegations.
