Germany coach Joachim Low will use the international friendly against Belgium on August 20 to try out some less experienced players. Nineteen-year-old Marko Marin and Serdar Tasci, 21, have been included in the squad, while Patrick Helmes and recent addition Jermaine Jones, who has two caps, were also called up. Rookie Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Rene Adler is being lined up for his debut as the new number one following Jens Lehmann's retirement from international football, and Robert Enke was called up at the expense of Timo Hildebrand. Tim Borowski, Per Mertesacker, David Odonkor, Arne Friedrich and Oliver Neuville all miss out through injury, leaving 17 members of Low's Euro 2008 squad in the latest selection of 21.
