Rosabee given a break

Vicky Haigh is to give her stable star Rosabee a short break having been forced to miss Saturday’s Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket. The Princess Margaret Stakes runner-up was well-fancied for the Newmarket Group Three but suffered a slight setback on the morning of the race. Haigh now admits that it was a blessing in disguise after seeing John Gosden’s Rainbow View bolt up but is looking towards a back-end campaign with her bargain buy. “She’s out in the paddock with my daughter’s pony, she’s going to have three weeks rest and she’ll come back for the end of the season,â€_ said Haigh. “I think we’ll try and avoid going where Rainbow View does after the way she won yesterday! “I think it was a blessing we had to miss the race and things happen for a reason. “I’m not sure what she actually did but one...
