Lee Center, New York (WSYR-TV) - Folks in the Oneida County village of Lee Center are cleaning up following Wednesday’s storms that blew down power lines and many trees, some of which landed on some homes. Many residents consider themselves fortunate, despite the damage done to their homes. “Three trees fell on my home - I heard a rumble, and I thought it was thunder,” says homeowner John Olmstead. Olmstead only saw what had fallen onto his home the following morning. It was a similar story for Michelle Pickett. “A neighbor's tree fell on my garage; my son and I were sleeping - he's been sick so he was in my bed - and we just thought thunder shook the house.
