Sun reporters blog about Maryland football and men's college basketball Williams named to preseason All-ACC team Maryland center Edwin Williams has been named to the 2008 Preseason All-ACC team, the league announced today. Williams, a fifth-year senior from Washington D.C., also earned preseason all-conference honors from Athlon, Blue Ribbon Yearbook, Lindy’s and The Sporting News. The 6-foot-3, 315-pounder has made 26 consecutive starts for the Terps at center.
