Three bombs exploded in northern Spain on Sunday, two of them following a warning from a caller who said he spoke on behalf of the Basque separatist group ETA, the Interior Ministry said. No injuries were reported. A homemade device packed into a gasoline tin detonated with no warning at 5 a.m. (0300 GMT) outside a bank in Getxo, damaging a cash dispenser and breaking windows, a regional interior ministry official told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because government rules did not allow her to be identified. Getxo, near the Basque port of Bilbao, is home to many business leaders and has regularly been targeted by ETA in its violent campaign for an independent Basque homeland.
