Teacher Sought In Alleged Sex Crime

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. -- Police are looking for a junior high school teacher who is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old former student. The National City Police Department has been investigating Craig Edward Kelso, 38, in connection with the case, and said Tuesday there is probable cause for his arrest. Kelso is a teacher at Granger Junior High School in National City. Police said he has been placed on administrative leave. The girl involved in the case was a former student at the school, police said. Kelso’s whereabouts are unknown. He may be driving a blue 2004 Ford F-150 truck, with California license plate PXVOBIS.
