With barely four days of play to go to the end of the MTN elite one championship this year, Cotonsport of Garoua still maintains her comfortable lead on the classification table. Cotonsport with 54 points maintained the seven point gap separating them from their closest rival, Canon of Yaounde. Cotonsport beat sable 2-0 in Garoua whereas Canon defeated Lion Ngoma 3-1. That notwithstanding, the battle still rages on for the second position which is synonymous to a place in continental competitions next year.
