Bus driver will not be charged in accident that killed exchange student from Scotland
CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina: A bus driver is not being charged for the death of a Scottish exchange student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who fell under the bus.
Police said Tuesday that Lisa Carolyn Moran was wearing an iPod while jogging. They said she did not stop for traffic, lost her footing and slid under the bus on Thursday.
She died after being transported to the university hospital.
Police say there was no designated crosswalk at the scene of the accident.
