Orange has bagged exclusive iPhone distribution rights in these following countries: Austria, Belgium, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland and other African countries serviced by Orange. These countries represent 3 regions Middle East Africa and Europe with Domincan Republic being the sole representative of the Caribbean. Last week it was SingTel who made the big announcement for Asia.
Orange is the French distributor of the iPhone and has been rumored to be testing the 3G version of the device. Will their new territories get the 3G their first chance?
