Inspectors assigned to the Guam Public School System's Health and Safety Task Force wrapped up their re-inspection of Benavente Middle’s School's Gymnasium this morning in Dededo. The gym was shutdown by the Task Force several weeks ago due to electrical and sewage problems. After several repairs were made to address the concerns raised by the Task Force, the facility is allowed to be used only during the day. Issues left to be resolved include securing the gym's electrical control panel, fixing exit signs and repairing some of the facility's doors. Once these issues are addressed the gym will be allowed to open at night. Meanwhile the task force heads to Oceanview Middle School in Agat later this afternoon to conduct an inspection there.
