Research and Markets Adds Report: 2Q08 Middle East and North Africa Mobile Forecast-2010

(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Research and Markets has announced the addition of "2Q08 Middle East
and North Africa Mobile Forecast, 2010" to its offerings.

In a release, Research and Markets noted that report highlights include:

The Middle East and North Africa Mobile Forecast provides over 65
operational and financial metrics for wireless markets across Middle
East and North Africa. We cover quarterly historical data starting in
4Q2003 and ending in 4Q07. We also provide four-year forecasts at the
operator level. Our Middle East and North Africa Aggregation contains
separate data for 5 countries and their mobile operators (15 operators
in total). Our Mobile Forecasts are updated quarterly and are available
for one-time delivery or through regular updates.

Through these custom-designed spreadsheets you can select specific
metrics and customize the results based on country or operator. The
operator data table can also be used for instant access to operators by
Country or all together. A set of charts will also be created
automatically based on your selections for the first 6 data entries of
each table. This allows for quick access to desired data, saving the
time typically wasted scrolling through the data and allowing for
comparisons across countries and operators. This regional forecast also
has the added function of charting all 65 operational and financial
metrics for a single country simply by selecting it from a drop down
menu.

Notable highlights of the 2Q08 Middle East and North Africa Mobile
Forecast include:

Trends in Wireless Markets:

- The fastest growing wireless markets in the region (Egypt): Within
our coverage list, we continue to believe that fastest growing wireless
market in this region from 2008 - 2010 by subscribers will be Egypt. We
are forecasting that Egypt will see a subscriber growth rate of about
36.3 percent over the next three years from our projected 2008
subscriber estimates. We are projecting a subscriber base in Egypt of
41.9 million in 2008.

- The market where consumers pay the most for wireless services in our
Middle East and North Africa Coverage List (Israel): In 2010, the
market where consumers pay the most for their mobile services in the
region (as measured by Average Revenue per User, ARPU) will be Israel
with US$ 39.74 per user.

- The market where consumers pay the least for wireless services in our
Middle East and North Africa Coverage List (Algeria): We are expecting
Algeria to have the lowest ARPU levels in the region. Operator-wide
ARPU levels in Algeria are expected to reach US$ 8.02 in 2007 and

stabilize to US$ 8.09 in 2010.

Operator Highlights:

- The fastest growing operator in our middle east and North Africa
coverage list (Nile Telecom in Egypt): Our model is forecasting that
Egypt's Nile Telecom will see the highest level of subscriber growth
among the 15 wireless operators in our coverage list. Subscriber levels
will rise by 127 percent between 2008 and 2010 and Nile Telecom is
forecasted to reach 9.1 million subscribers in 2010.

-The operator which will charge its customers the most in our Middle
East and North Africa coverage list (Partner in Israel): In 2010, the
operator which will bill its customers at the highest level in our
coverage list will be Partner in Israel with an ARPU of US$ 44.75 per
month in 2010.

- The operator which will charge its customers the least in our Middle
East and North Africa coverage list (Mobilis in Algeria): In 2010, the
operator which will bill its customers at the lowest rate in our
coverage list will be Mobilis in Algeria with an ARPU of only US$ 3.00
per month in 2010.

- The most profitable operators in the Middle East and North Africa in
our coverage list (Maroc Telecom in Morocco): Within our coverage list,
we are now expecting Maroc Telecom to be the most profitable operators
in the region. On average, we are expecting EBITDA margins at Maroc
Telecom to remain in the 60 percent - 63 percent range over the next
three years.
