Ernst Mach’s Days in Brno 2008
"Ernst Mach’s Days in Brno 2008” celebrations, hosted by Charles University in Prague, Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the Association of the Czech Mathematicians and Physicians, the Statutory City of Brno together with the Chrlice local authorities, involve some events held in Brno on the occasion of the 170th birthday anniversary of Ernst Mach (1838-1916), the Brno-Chrlice native outstanding physicist and philosopher, and of the 20th anniversary of the placing of the memorial plaque dedicated by the Association of the Czech of Mathematicians and Physiciansbon the front of his parental 30, 2008.
