Gulf States in Talks on Israeli Electric Car Project
(IsraelNN.com) Israeli investor Shai Agassi is holding talks with Persian Gulf states for purchasing tens of thousands of electric cars to be made under his Project Better Place project, Globes reported. The company did not reveal which countries are involved.
Negotiations with the Arab countries are being held via a California subsidiary of Project Better Place and not directly from Israel, which has no diplomatic relations with the Gulf States. The French carmaker Renault is co-sponsoring the project.
