The Super Duper Ice Cream Scooper was developed to eliminate the hassle associated with scooping ice cream with a conventional scooper or spoon. The invention also would reduce the mess involved with serving ice cream. In addition, the device would be easy to use, and it would feature a portable design.
The inventors came up with the idea based on their personal experience. "It's often difficult to scoop and serve ice cream out of the carton, and I wind up making a mess in the process, so I came up with this idea to solve the problem," said one inventor.
The original design was submitted to the Salt Lake City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
