New Book Lends Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse



According to the Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence, one out of every four American women report they have been physically abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives; 85 percent of Americans say they would help stop this violence if they just knew what to do. She was faced with a dilemma: how would she teach her own daughters that suicide is not an option She responded by penning her book, seeking to break the cycles of abuse, to prevent young people from committing suicide, to lead them to forgiving their fallible parents, and to teach them how to live a functional life in a dysfunctional world with God's help.
