So based upon my calculations from oils recent high of 147ish. Demand is down nearly two thirds? When will people finally realize that oil is controlled and manipulated by the powers that be? Again, still buying oil stocks as oil will be the primary force driving energy for at a minimum another decade.
Note. I do the opposite of what analysts recommend.
Oil upwards of 150 was absurd and now oil heading below 50 is at the opposite spectrum. As stated before I am viewing this as a marvelous opportunity to get into oil related stocks. I have been picking them up little by little with each spike down. They still pay terrific dividends. And if and when the global economy recovers they will be the first to benefit.
PS: Jail everyone at GS
I don't know doom. I feel this market will continue to have wild fluctuations up and down. The trend certainly appears to be down. There will be big up days followed by sell offs. As fear is driving this market. And until confidence of some sort returns the market will most likely continue on its current path.
Over a year ago I though the bottom was around 10k now I am not so certain. I have read it could go to 5k. I find that hard to believe but I for one am picking up stocks I feel have value. As well as playing DXD SKF and TWM to name a few.
I would feel your goal should be to preserve your capital.
Anyone else notice how everything turned really sour after bush had his emergency pow wow trying to sell the bailout?
I gotta say 9 billion in revenue isn't the end of the world.
