Did you know that there are people in certain parts of the world who have never even seen an iPhone? Fortune has helpfully mapped out the fetishized Apple product's availability. The countries where one can procure an iPhone (at least by this summer) are marked in red. (Sucks to be you, Russia!) Of course, the map does not include black-market iPhones. [Fortune]

so much or Europe and Russian can't get Iphone but we can't get Prada phones over here so I would say it's wash... all's fair in love and free market trade.
*so much OF... *an Iphone... *it's A wash. WOW. I suck.
Hmm, the Washington Post seems to think that those sneaky Russian elitists have iPhones.
I'm just glad I don't live in Myanmar, because the inability to have access to an I-Phone would render my life meaningless.
They have iphones in the Yukon Territory? I didn't know they even had people there.
Wait...there are no iphones in Japan? Or is it red and I'm going colorblind?
Hold up. Japan's not in red?
I call foul.
@EleanorRigby:Jinx! (And your comment only showed up after I posted!)
@DorothyMantooth: You lie like a Persian rug, Mantooth.
Traveling outside the red-zone looks scary.
Japan's advanced 3G+ mobile networks are not recognized by the primitive iPhone, which can only communicate over 2.5G networks.
Hence, no iPhone in Japan.
Shouldn't this be a map of the Universe? To think that Jobso has only scratched the surface of one stinking Windows-infested planet must cause him some grief.
This is the stupidest post ever. There are equal and better devices out there than the iPhone. It's just like Americans to think that the shiniest and prettiest is better.
i am assuming they are talking about s. hemisphere summers (ie nov/dec 2008) for the phones to come to places like NZ?
we are so behind here! my current phone doesn't even flip.
I live in Moscow, and it seems like everyone here has an iPhone. Including the new president. I read that there are over 200,000 iPhones in Russia, all unlocked and jailbroken, because Russia has some of the best hackers in the world.
