Date set for airport railway

A railway line to Prague Ruzyně Airport and further on to Kladno, Central Bohemia, should start operation in 2013, according to a memorandum signed by representatives of the state and regional authorities after 17 years of disputes.

    There are still many questions concerning the AirCon line; for example, concerning who will finance and operate it. Transport Minister Aleš Řebíček said a public-private partnership (PPP) is one of the options.
