This book contains a compilation of the pictures I took in Egypt early 2006. After a few days in Cairo I left the hectic city-life for the nearby majestic pyramids on the Giza plateau. I then continued my journey South to Saqqara with its intriguing step-pyramid of Zoser. After that I visited Memphis, the ancient capital, and the enormous rock temples of Abu Simbel near the Sudanese border. From there I travelled back North via Aswan to Luxor where Tutankhamen's tomb is and where the amazing temples of Luxor and Karnak are. After returning to Cairo I explored the lively Birqash camel market and finally I revisited the Giza plateau during a violent sandstorm.
