Moroccan players ousted at WTA tournament in Fez

During the second day of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem tournament in Fez on Tuesday (April 29th), Hungary's Greta Arn qualified for the next round. Spain's top-seeded Anabel Medina Garrigues defeated her compatriot Lourdes Dominguez Lino 2-1 while Italy's Tathiana Garbin defeated Colombia's Catalina Castano with the same score. The three Moroccan representatives, Nadia Lalami, Lamia Essaadi and Fatima Zahrae El Allami were all ousted by Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky and Russians Arina Rodionova and Anastasia Pavlychenkova, respectively.
