Police: Drug Raid Nets Heroine, Cocaine In L.I.

HOLBROOK, N.Y. (AP) ― Police said they found 80 bags of heroin, four grams of cocaine and other drugs in the home of a Long Island woman.

The resident of the Holbrook house was arrested on multiple charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

A Suffolk County Police Department narcotics squad raided the 20-year-old woman's house yesterday about 8:45 a.m. Besides the cocaine and heroin, the police officers seized methadone and Suboxone pills, which are often used to fight addiction.

The woman is being held overnight pending her first court appearance in Central Islip Sunday.
