Mount Kisco, NY (PRWEB) April 26, 2008 -- Co-Communications, Inc., a full-service public relations and marketing firm, was recently inducted into the Westchester County Business Hall of Fame. The award was presented to Stacey Cohen, president, Co-Communications, Inc., in the Small Business Success category at the seventh annual Westchester County Business Hall of Fame Awards Dinner, Glen Island Harbour Club, New Rochelle, NY.

Induction into the Hall of Fame is a lifetime-achievement award for a business or an individual who has made a significant contribution to their company and the Westchester business community. Winners are selected by a panel of judges based on such criteria as business excellence, vision and innovation, leadership, and commitment to the community. Award categories include Corporate Citizenship, Entrepreneurial Success, Small Business Success, Women in Business Success and Family Business Success. Previous inductees include Lillian Vernon Corp., NY Hospitality Group, MasterCard Worldwide, and PepsiCo.

"Our winners are clearly thought-leaders and trailblazers in their respective fields…all while giving back to the community in which they operate," said Business Council president and CEO, Dr. Marsha Gordon.

Established in 1997, Co-Communications provides public relations, direct mail, advertising, e-mail campaigns, special events and website development. The firm's use of technology and new media has proven to be their biggest marketing advantage, and its vast experience of integrating search engine optimization (SEO) with public relations has been a distinguishing feature.

Other "new media" services include weblogs, podcasting, and streaming video. A diverse client base includes real estate, healthcare, information technology, financial services and non-profit organizations.

Co-Communications has been a recipient of a variety of industry awards, including The Journal News "Best of Show" award, 16 Advertising Club awards, two Gold PRSA Mercury awards, and the 2006 Forbes Enterprise award.

Pro bono agency work includes March of Dimes, The Volunteer Center, Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society among many others.

"I am so grateful to the Business Council of Westchester and to Marsha Gordon for this tremendous honor. Joining the Business Council has helped me grow my business, gain access to indispensable resources and make lifelong friends. Our success represents the talent and dedication of the entire Co-Communications team," said Cohen.
