Encoda Launches Latest Version of the M/EDI Information Generator(TM) at New Jersey Practice
PHILADELPHIA --(Business Wire)-- Encoda announced today that Regional Otolaryngology Head and Neck Associates, a thirteen physician and 9 location practice in southern New Jersey, has implemented the new version of Encoda's data warehouse and business analysis product--M/EDI Information Generator(TM).
The M/EDI Information Generator(TM) utilizes powerful enterprise-level tools from Oracle(R) and the easy-to-use functionality of Microsoft(R) Excel to enable practices to produce information that is complete and actionable. The database structure was designed specifically for the needs of medical delivery units.
The product comes with a number of standard reports such as the Velocity Report which tracks liquidation rates and the Watchdog Report which monitors the progress of claims through the submission, adjudication and payment cycle.
"The M/EDI Information Generator has given ROHNA the ability to move completely away from the legacy reports of their practice management system," said Robert S. Lee, CEO of Encoda. "This is the only tool of its kind that a practice can purchase without spending hundreds of thousands of dollars."
Working in conjunction with the M/EDI Suite of revenue cycle automation applications, this tool combines data from the practice management system with a payer's X12 Standard Transaction adjustment and reimbursement codes for a 360 degree view of a practice's revenue cycle. For the first time, practices have a tool that will enable them to negotiate claim settlements and new contracts utilizing the Standard Transaction data that comes directly from that payer's adjudication system.
